The air in Minoh is splendid somehow.
I was there a few weeks ago, and I certainly felt something very different to inner city Osaka.
Leaf viewing in Minoh is also exceptional.
Take at look at this fabulous website (in Japanese) for luscious pictures, hiking trails, and condition of the leaves. Simply outstanding.
Take a drive down there, or jump on the Hankyu Line from Umeda, and change trains at Ishibashi.
Well worth it. Just you wait and see.
